Terms of Service

1. What RouteBoss Is

RouteBoss is a network configuration and diagnostics tool. It is not a VPN service and does not operate, own, or provide any server infrastructure. RouteBoss connects to WireGuard endpoints that you configure yourself — a server you run, or one you already have separate access and rights to use. We do not provide, sell, or broker access to any server, endpoint, or network.

You are solely responsible for:

• Any server or endpoint you configure RouteBoss to connect to, including its legality, security, and terms of use.
• Complying with the terms of service of any third-party network, service, or endpoint you route traffic through using RouteBoss.
• Ensuring your use of RouteBoss complies with the laws of your jurisdiction and any jurisdiction whose network you access.

RouteBoss does not provide, and is not intended to provide, a means of bypassing geographic content restrictions or circumventing the terms of service of any third-party service.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use RouteBoss on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal or internal business use, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the App Store's usage rules.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by applicable law.
• Redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or resell the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose, including unauthorized access to computer systems or networks.

3. Your Configuration and Content

RouteBoss stores your configuration (endpoints, routing rules, DNS policy, and similar settings) locally on your device, with secrets such as private keys stored in the device Keychain. You are responsible for the accuracy and security of the configuration you enter, including any credentials or keys you provide.

We do not have access to your configuration, your traffic, or the contents of your network communications. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. No Warranty

ROUTEBOSS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY NETWORK CONNECTION ESTABLISHED THROUGH THE APP WILL BE CONTINUOUSLY AVAILABLE OR PROTECTED.

Network routing, VPN tunnels, and DNS configuration are inherently affected by conditions outside our control, including third-party server availability, network transitions, and operating system behavior. RouteBoss includes health checks and a recovery path, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted connectivity or protection.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLIQURS LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, NETWORK ACCESS, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE ROUTEBOSS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

6. Third-Party Services and Endpoints

RouteBoss may allow you to configure DNS resolvers (such as Cloudflare, Quad9, or Google Public DNS) or connect to WireGuard endpoints operated by third parties or by you. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for any third-party service you choose to use through RouteBoss. Your use of any such service is governed by that service's own terms and privacy practices.

7. Age Requirement

RouteBoss is not directed at children. You must be at least 13 years old to use RouteBoss, or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction.

8. Changes to the App and These Terms

We may update RouteBoss and these Terms from time to time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using RouteBoss at any time by deleting the App. We may suspend or terminate your ability to use the App if you violate these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
